Women's Ministry

The mission of our Women's Ministry is to help women relax from the daily grind, renew their relationship with God, and reconnect with the women of First Christian Church. Our events are designed to help us pull away - from noise, hurry, multitasking, and chaos - and grow closer to God through times of worship, teaching, laughter, and celebration. We welcome women of all ages and stages to participate in our events.

Women's Morning Study

STARTS WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 2026 FROM 9:30-11:30AM (5 WEEKS)

One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to cease from all the activities and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christ-likeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. In the Old Testament, Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, then the concept of Sabbath will change your life. Childcare is available, and the study guide is available for purchase from Mosaic Café or your favorite bookseller.

Women's Evening Study

THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2026 FROM 6:30-8PM (4 WEEKS)

Where is God in the midst of my suffering? Does He see me? Does He hear me? If you’re in a season with questions like these, you’re not alone. God is with you. He sees you, and He hears your prayers. In fact, God is present in every single detail of your life—even the hardest. If you’re in need of this truth in your life, Job: Holding to Hope When Life Falls Apart, is for you. The Book of Job teaches us about God’s sovereign control of both good and evil. Through this study, you will learn that God is worthy of our praise in all seasons — even the most difficult ones.
